The latest news in for housing under the government Rumah Perumahan Negara Scheme.
We’ve had a few applications in, that are pending, subject to new reformations inter department. Whereby before the owners are allowed to extend their homes so long setbacks were adhered to, the latest news is all submissions are held at the moment.
We are still awaiting the final outcome but so far what we’ve been told is extensions are only permitted on the side. The front and rear extensions are still being considered for approval.
This may prove to be tricky because side setbacks are usually set in the masterplanning stage. Hence, there’s not much leeway in terms of side extensions.
For all those owners pending applications, we’ll just have to wait see what happens!!
